Mediation

Conflict is an unavoidable part of being a human in society. But that doesn’t mean you have to get stuck in conflict with no way out. We work to create a safe space where parties can begin the process of listening and understanding each others’ perspectives in order to create their own resolution.

Our primary goal is to help you resolve your dispute so you can move on with your life. Our training in facilitative mediation along with our background as practicing attorneys with a decade of experience in litigation, means that we can meet both parties where they are, hold space, and listen to their stories to facilitate meaningful dialogue to empower parties to resolve their own disputes.

To begin the mediation process:

1) Invite someone to mediation.

If you would like to attempt to mediate a dispute but you’re not sure if the other party is interested or you do not know how to approach them, Aspen Grove Integrative Law will send an invitation to mediate on your behalf. In that letter we will explain what mediation is and how we can help. If the other party is interested, we will coordinate to schedule the mediation, hold pre-mediation sessions, and ensure the costs are split in accordance with the parties’ agreement.

2) You’re ready to mediate now.

If everyone in the conflict has agreed that it is time for mediation, please click the link below to schedule a mediation. After you fill out our form we will send you our scheduling link and we will get your mediation on the calendar. We will then send our pre-mediation process and instructions to both parties.

3) Schedule a consultation to learn more about mediation.

If you’re unsure whether mediation is right for you or for your conflict, you may schedule a consultation to learn more about mediation, our approach to dispute resolution. In this consultation Dave will meet with you to explain his approach so that you can decide if it is a good fit.
